Ecology
MY summary of Ecology.
You may not know what Ecology is. Most kids this generation don't know much about nature which is sad! Well let me tell you what Ecology is.
Ecology is the scientific study of Nature... Don't tell me you don't know what Nature is. Ugh! Nature is basically the forests and animals and all the living (and nonliving too) things in a Ecosystem. You see, a Ecosystem is like a little world of nature. In a Ecosystem there is a food pyramid where is starts with Producers (Living things that make their own food EX: Grass) then there is the First level Consumer also known as Herbivores. They eat plants (Producers) for energy but they don't get all the energy that Producers have. They only get some and that goes for a all the levels but is gets smaller the higher you go. the next higher level is Secondary Consumers. The animals in this level are birds and little creatures such as that.
The next higher level is Tertiary Consumer. In this level there is lions and tigers and many other consumers like that. They are at the highest of the Consumer Pyramid thus they get the least amount of energy.

Marine Biome (Salt-Water Biome) Food Web and Relationships
This is going to be examples of Relationships in the Marine Biome (Also known as the Salt-Water Biome)
This is a pretty good detailed version of a Marine Biome (Salt-Water Biome) it goes from the low depths of the ocean to the surface of the water where it meets land.
Now in the Food web there is more then you know there actually is. They are called Relationships... And no they are not like girlfriend and boyfriend. What I mean is food relationships. Here are some Examples.

Parasite/Host Relationship
This is a relationship where the host is harmed (Most of the time). A good example is of a Whale and Barnacles. The Barnacles don't harm nor help the Whale they just attach onto the the skin and sit there. heres a picture.
