This page is for the DCP 4 (District Check Point).
Every living thing is made of one or more Cells and there is multiple variations of the Cell.
Listed below are the different types of Cells:
Plant Cell (top left)
Animal Cell (top right)
Bacterial Cell (bottom left)
And the
Viral Cell (we'll talk about the Viral Cell later in a different page). (Bottom right corner).
Here we will describe the Animal Cell and Plant Cell (this is because they share the same organelles but 2). The AC (Animal Cell) and PC (Plant Cell) has 8 organelles (organs of the Cell). This also includes the Bacterial Cell but it doesn't have a Nucleus or Membrane-Bound Organelles.
This here is the Nucleus of the Cell. The Nucleus has 2 major functions.
1. Is the control all of the Cells functions. The Nucleus or the Brain of the Cell.
2. It also houses the Chromosomes (DNA) of the cell. (We'll talk about the DNA on a different page.)

This here is what the Chromosomes look like. They have only one function and that is Genetic Coding (DNA)
This here is the Endoplasmic Reticulum of the Cell. It Delivers proteins all over the cell.
And as you can see the picture has orange orbs all over it. Those are the Ribosomes of the Cell. Ribosomes make the Protein of the Cell.

This is the Golgi Bodies (right side). The Golgi Bodies modify the Proteins of the Cell with Lipids.
The Mitochondria is Also in the picture (left side). The Mitochondria makes Energy (ATV) for the Cell. Mitochondria is the Powerhouse of the Cell!

This here is the Vacuole. It stores water and food in it for the Cell.
